Katyusha lands in Israel

Another Katyusha rocket was fired at Israel. This one actually hit something.

A Katyusha rocket fired Tuesday morning at the western Negev community of Nativ Haasara struck a chicken coop, killing thirty chickens, and damaging the community’s greenhouse.

The rocket fell on a hilltop opposite one of the coops belonging to a resident. Shrapnel struck the coop facing the hilltop and the adjacent greenhouse. A pipe bringing water to the coop was also hit.

Wait for the international condemnation — from animal rights groups.

  1. Ben F says:

I don’t think you want to hear from PETA, Meryl, because if they say anything at all they’re likely to hail the Palestinian Arabs for doing what American Jews begged FDR to do—you know, bomb the coops concentration camps.

  2. In a sane world, anyone who suggested restraint in responding to an act of war would be put away.

  3. PETA didn’t even bother condemning the killing of an Israeli cat in a past rocket attack.

They’ll bed for the ethical treatment of Arab donkeys, but not Israeli animals, it appears.

    Go figure.

  4. I hope you all understand that the only party that could be conceivably blamed by PETA is the Zionists, who put the chickens in the line of fire on purpose.
