The all-Hamas hit snark news

Hey, terrorists are human, too! Why is it that the AP insists on writing hagiographies for dead terrorists, yet usually utterly ignores the biographies of their victims? I’m surprised they even mentioned the names of the two Israeli soldiers he killed.

The world is outraged, outraged! Let’s see, Paris demands clarification, the U.K. expects full cooperation from Israel, the Dubai hit may damage U.K.-Israel ties. Okay, that last one—really? Seriously? Damage ties between the nation that refuses to cancel its law that allows its citizens to charge Israeli politicians with war crimes, that refuses to sell Israel spare parts for weapons systems it already sold, and that has one of the most vocal anti-Israel boycott movements in the world? Relations are going to get worse? Don’t make me laugh.

Outrage for thee, but not for me: So, where’s the outrage that Pakistan is likely torturing the al Qaeda leader we snagged a few days ago? Just to compare and contrast, the world is freaking out because the Israeli spy agency (probably) took out a Hamas terrorist. I’m not hearing any complaints about how the ISI is getting Mullah Baradar to talk.

Just in case you thought they were kidding: Love the headline of this article. “Miliband denies going soft on Israel over ‘Mossad’ killing.” So, what was that about damaging relations between the U.K. and Israel again?

Let’s get this straight:- Allegedly, the Mossad used names of Israelis on fake British, Irish, French, maybe Austrian passports, and the Dubai police are “99% sure the killers were Mossad agents”, yet the only people arrested so far are 3 Palestinians, including a member of Hamas…something doesn’t add up. Or maybe it does.

  2. Actually, besides that, what I find the funniest in this whole thing is how many people in the comments of various blogs and newspapers know SO much about how the Mossad “botched” the hit, or didn’t botch the hit, or whatever other pithy analysis people seem so eager to contribute. Because the average person’s background for analzying this hit? It’s watching spy movies. Or reading spy novels.

Just look at all those “experts” chiming in. They look ridiculous.

Tactically speaking, Israel can’t lose in this affair.
If they did author the ‘hit’ then all the hamassholes are probably quacking in their pants for fear that there will be a Jew behind every door ready to kill them. If so, maybe we can expect some resolution regarding Gilad Shalit.
If this ‘hit’ was by another outfit other than Israel, lets say fatah, then lets get the popcorn and watch these animals battle it out.
Maybe it was a US team exacting revenge for the loss of American lives in iraq and elsewhere as hamass and iran are allied together.
So many scenarios all of ’em good.

No one yet has pointed out the REAL reason this guy was ‘terminated’. The videos I’ve seen show him carrying a tennis racket. In DUBAI. And who is doing really well in the tournament now being held in DUBAI?

“Israeli tennis player Shahar Peer on Thursday advanced to the semifinals of the Dubai Championship, after beating 10th seed Na Li in
    the quarterfinal match.”

I surprised that there haven’t been calls for an investigation by the Israeli Tennis Federation and the World Tennis Federation. So
    WTF is going on here?

  5. Mossad would never have ID thefted that may Jews/Israelis.

And by refusing to confirm or deny, they’re scaring the crap out of a lot of Pali-expat arms dealers, because they don’t know if Mossad is ready to take them out, or if they’ll fail to pay enough of a bribe to the right Hamas, Egyptian, or Dubai official.

Here’s my theory – whoever planned this (and I’m leaning away from Mossad)thought they had cover and cooperation from Dubai’s law enforcement/intelligence communities (not that there’s likely a lot of daylight between them.) But someone else saw an opportunity to screw over a rival and blame it on Israel, so lots of evidence that would have disappeared winds up in slickly produced packages.
