Ahmadinejad considered return to the Divine Prophets’ Path as the only way left for saving the mankind from the quagmire they are caught in due to deficiencies of the man made schools of thought, such as Liberalism and Communism that have failed in meeting the dire needs of the mankind.
Say, when his own news service quotes him as saying the world must submit to Islam, is it still Islamophobia to say that Ahmadinejad wants us all to convert to Islam?

I’ve seen a statement attributed to Khomenei that the Iranian revolutionaries did not worship Iran, they worshiped Allah. Even if they got Iran destroyed in the process of destroying Israel and America, the little and great Satans, Islam would emerge victorious. I rather suspect most Iranians would rather not be destroyed to forward the lunatic schemes of the Mad Mullahs. If so they must overthrow these evil clowns now, before they start the nukes flying.
