Fine, I give up: Free comments

You can comment without being a registered user.

That being said, registered users, don’t think you wasted your time. If comments get too abusive, I will close them again.

The no-flames policy is in effect at all times.

  1. OK, good move, Meryl, as fitting for a democracy;-)

Why don’t you take a look at this one:

You wouldn’t like it, I promise. We didn’t and expressed it already here:

  2. Oops! Something gone wrong with the formatting. Sorry if it is me.

  3. Snoopy, I’m almost tempted to release you from the no-flames obligation. In fact, yes, I will. You have my permission to go full-bore on any anti-Semite stupid enough to post a comment here.

It isn’t that I can’t take care of myself–check out my old site and some of the comments there–but you do it so well.

It must be one of the reasons you’re so high up in the Elders, while I am still slogging away at my midlevel position.

  4. No no. Meryl, I am quite housetrained, and wouldn’t go ballistic on your nice blog here.

We have that special place of ours to do so. Have you looked at that pathetic loser Eugene, though?

I thought it is a dejavu all over again after that British chap Mark Elf from the Jews Sans Frontieres.

  5. I did. He also looked in here, and dropped a comment that was simply a plug for his blog. Sorry, that’s not good enough to be approved.

Democracy? Here? It is to laugh.

  6. Sabba Hillel says:

Why not have people register? It makes it easier to send responses. I suppose that if needed you can allow an “anonymous” login if people really insist. But logging in makes things so much easier for the rest of us.

With the government budget crisis these days, it is getting harder and harder for the NSA to find the time to help us track them down.

For the humor impaired, that was sarcasm.

  7. Hm. That’s an interesting idea, Sabba Hillel. I could set up an anonymous account that people could use to post comments. That would also prevent the annoyance of the drive-by flamers, who generally don’t want to put out the effort to log in.

    Thoughts, would-be anonymouses?

  8. Ben F says:

I’m wondering how The Hulk feels about appearing on basic cable tonight?

  9. Kat says:

Eh, I’m just too lazy to register.

Though there have been a few times I’ve wanted to comment and thought “oh, I should register” but never bothered.

I agree with the “more Hulk” comments. And Rahel’s “more kitty pictures”. Although I’m not one to talk, considering I have a month of photos that haven’t been taken off my camera yet.

Yay for unregistered comments! I promise I won’t flame. Unless the other person is an idiot :D
