Gerald Kaufman, a governing Labour Party legislator, sharply criticized Israel in a House of Commons debate on Gaza, arguing that the Jewish state has exploited guilt that much of the world feels for having ignored the slaughter of millions of Jews during World War II.
“The present Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the continuing guilt from Gentiles over the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust as justification for their murder of Palestinians,” he said.
[…] “My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town. … A German soldier shot her dead in her bed,” he said. “My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza.”

Half of all of the world’s occupants are of below average intelligence. Unfortunately, the odds are that a large number of them will be in positions of authority. Oddly enough the entire concept of “populism” and “socialism” tends to take the most intelligent, best qualified people out of the running for leadership positions in Government – they’re too smart to get involved in something so stupid…
You have to try to imagine yourself as being dumber than a bedpost and you’ll see the “logic”: Two wrongs don’t make a right, therefore, killing someone else to prevent them from killing you is wrong. It’s better that only half of you die. It’s the Liberal concept of moral equivalence, a Jew-hating Islamic Supremicist homicidal maniac has the same “right” to live as the Jew who has committed no wrong, done no evil, and simply wants to live in peace.
