It’s beginning to look a lot like bias

Say, remember those annual Christmas stories, the ones that basically say that Israeli actions make the baby Jesus cry?

They’ve already begun.

BETHLEHEM, West Bank Dec 10, 2006 (AP)— Islamic militants may be in charge, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be Christmas this year.

The cash-strapped Hamas government is promising $50,000 to dress up Jesus’ traditional birthplace for the holiday, more than twice the amount spent in previous years.

Yet even the extra cash if Hamas pays up may not be enough to bring Christmas cheer to Bethlehem, hit hard by the last six years of Israeli-Palestinian fighting. The biblical town is now walled in by Israel’s West Bank separation barrier, poverty is deepening and Christians are leaving Bethlehem in droves.

“Leaving in droves”? The Christians have already left, pal, and why would that be? Oh, right. The persecution of Christians by palstinian Muslims, something which gets little play due to the intimidation of the Muslims of those who would complain.

Oh, and catch these lies by the palestinian spokesliars.

Palestinian Tourism Minister Joudeh Morkos has modest expectations.

Last year, only about 2,500 foreign visitors came on Christmas, but he’s counting on the usual busloads of Christians from Arab towns in Israel to boost turnout. Before the outbreak of the Palestinian uprising in 2000, Bethlehem drew more than 90,000 pilgrims a month.

Funny, the AP reported this last year:

About 30,000 people were expected to visit Bethlehem over Christmas – 10,000 more than last year – but still very different from the 1990s, when 150,000 people would visit during the holiday. By early evening, 7,000 tourists had arrived, Israeli officials said, despite stinging cold winds and pouring rain. Hundreds more arrived for midnight Mass, though a final crowd estimate was not immediately available.

Really, get your stories straight, Spokesliars. Your lies are too easily disproven. Oh, wait. The AP doesn’t fact-check palestinian spokesliars. They simply reprint anything they say about Israel, verbatim.

In fact, they can’t even check their own past articles for background. Because those quotes above? From the AP.

But yeah, blame the Jews. Why not? It’s Christmas time!

Now we just need the stories about “Israelis crucifying Jesus all over again” and “Jesus’ parents would never make it to Bethlehem”

Isn’t it wonderful how these progressive voices in the media manage to dig up the typical antisemitism of Europe over several hundred years.

  2. I’m looking forward to Michel Sabeh weeping over the tablecloth someone’s folded up in a chair.

Sabeh isn’t just a dhimmi. The man will convert to Islam on his deathbed and say he was a Muslim all along. Just watch and see.

    Meanwhile, back in the USA:

(AP) All nine Christmas trees have been removed from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport instead of adding a giant Jewish menorah to the holiday display as a rabbi had requested.

The airport decided it would rather take down all the trees than put up a menorah. But take a look at the comments. Guess who’s the villain of the story?

ugly and awful stuff…and the comments are ignorant, full of hate and completely ignore what really happened

when a rabbi simply wanted to include a menorah, he’s condemned but when christians want to put up a christmas tree… anyone who opposes it is condemned

it’s a truly noxious double standard
