Iranian anti-Semitism: Still no AP report

I guess it’s just not important enough. There’s still no AP story on the Iranian VP’s anti-Semitic speech. Reuters covered it.

The AP was too busy putting out long, in-depth stories about how the PA is trying to get the Church of the Nativity declared a UN heritage site. And spinning them as anti-Israel as possible. Because we know they’re so very, very fond of Christians. (What’s that? The Christian populations of the West Bank and Gaza have shrunk while Israel’s has expanded? The deuce you say!)

The AP is also busy burying the news of another terrorist attack in the middle of other stories where they gloss over terrorist attacks.

Hamed was found guilty of orchestrating bombings in a Jerusalem cafe, the cafeteria at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and other public places during the uprising that began in 2000. Israeli media showed video from the court, where Hamed was seen smiling.

These are the terror attacks the AP glosses over:

Hamed, 47, was arrested in 2006. He was convicted of having direct involvement in a string of terror attacks in Jerusalem, including the 2001 attack in Zion Square, which left 10 dead; the 2002 attack in Café Moment, which claimed 11 lives; the 2003 suicide attacks on Café Hillel, which left seven dead and 57 wounded; and the 2003 shooting attack in Zerifin which left nine dead.

But that wasn’t worth a single story for the AP. The article contains three separate elements: The conviction of Hamed, the latest terror attack (failed due to the guard shooting the Palestinian trying to take his weapon), and peace talks. Way to cover the news, AP!
