What’s more concerning is the transition of mainstream media from tolerating anti-semetic discourse in the comments sections of their blogs to increase their click-through rates, to publishing it on the cover of their printed edition.

It was the most sarcastic song that I’ve ever heard-and it’s outrageous that 35 or 40 years after it was written the world still doesn’t get it.

But yes, the writer seems not at all conscious about his allusions–I’d bet it never crossed his mind that he was echoing an anti-Semitic canaard. I don’t thik this is innocence or ingenuousness on his part–I think it’s something he simply assimilates fully. But any day now he’ll, no doubt,write an article about the Saudi ruling class and it’s finncial dealings and gains.

You know, I read that article last week and didn’t notice the “money-grubbing Jew” part of it. I was thinking after reading Victor Davis Hanson’s piece that we were seeing too much into the article. And then I remembered… oh, yeah. This is from the “rhymes with Fagin” magazine.
