How not to run a political ad campaign

This is one of the funniest political ads I’ve ever seen—at least, the first few seconds are. (You can stop soon after the sheep shows up.)

Demon sheep!

Via the Corner.

Update: Don’t stop it after a few seconds. You have to run it to about 2:30 to fully appreciate the utter idiocy of this commercial. Spit-monitor warning.

Funny commercial. Too bad it’s advertising Carly Fiorina, the woman who destroyed Hewlett-Packard.

  2. MikeS says:

    Wow. Total metaphor train wreck.

    And, really… Carly Fiorina?

  3. Russ, Fiorina also destroyed Lucent. I got a contracting job with them, and remember, Lucent was created out of AT&T Labs—the arm of AT&T that made the company what it was. Carly took it over and destroyed it. I was literally days away from being hired as part of the web team there when the hiring freeze hit, and then you know the rest. What a shame. That was a GREAT place to work.

Wait… are sheep supposed to be good in this ad? Or merely tasty?
