To my new visitors

My traffic is up tremendously, and it’s not just via referrers. People have found my blog and bookmarked it, or are emailing articles to their friends. Some of you have doubtless been surprised by the tone, some maybe even shocked. I’d like to talk to the new readers who come here thinking that Israel is the villain.

There’s one thing you can count on when you read my blog: I will not lie to you. The posts that you read here are biased towards Israel, yes, but every single thing we write is fact-based. You are being lied to by the mainstream media, as we have proven time and again. Here, you may not like what you read, but we have a strict policy here: We don’t make stuff up. In fact, we almost never post about something that we suspect is untrue.

So come because you want to scream about how big bully Israel is picking on poor little Gaza. But stay and read the truth of the matter, and maybe you’ll change your mind about Israel.

Don’t expect me to change my tone, and don’t expect me to approve any Israel-bashing comments. But do expect to be told the truth. If the world would only face the truth of the matter, Israel wouldn’t be the subject of the protests around the world today. The subject would rightly be the murderers of Hamas.

Proud to say that I’m a new reader Meryl. Using Google reader for syndication.

  2. Welcome, Butch. I’m going to take a while guess you’re not one of the anti-Israel crowd.

It’s their minds I’d really like to change, if they’d only give me half a chance.

I’ve been reading constantly since Dec. 26 or so, really great work. After reading the daily shoescum at the Washington Post, this blog is fantastic.

Honestly, I can’t understand how anyone can think that Israel is the villain with all she’s endured over the years. I pray she is completely successful at defending and protecting herself.

    Keep up the good work.

The one truth I know in my gut is that for the human race and this planet to survive whole, healthy and intact is for the State of Israel and the Jewish people to survive whole, healthy and intact.

Jews are Guardians of the Covenant. It’s time for people to remember that.

Meryl, It’s worth noting for your new readers that, on the infrequent occasion when an error in your blog reportage is pointed out with facts from a reputable source, you will correct the record. (Perhaps you can include a link or links to past examples?) As a long-time reader and infrequent contributor to the tip jar, I’m pleased to read that the Yourish.com traffic has seen a terrific increase, and even more pleased by your and Soccer Dad’s excellent work. With best regards and with appreciation, Eric

  8. There are 28 pages of posts with the word “update” in them, so no, I can’t link. Too much trouble.

Then again, you can count the number of times I’ve been wrong in single digits, I’m sure.

I really do not post something unless I’m very sure it’s factual. I wouldn’t write a thing about the San Francisco State University anti-Jewish riot until I fact-checked it myself. And that’s the story that really got my name across the blogosphere.

Thinking about it, that may be the story that sort of started the JBlogosphere. I’d have to go back and look, but I think that was the one that got us all together.

now you’ve intrigued me… where can i read this san francisco post you mentioned?

  10. Here.

It also happens to be the beginning of my split with the leftosphere.

I keep coming back to read your website.
You have my full support Yourish, and Israel.

Israel has always had my support. Even more so after reading “PA Indoctrination of Children to Seek
Heroic Death for Allah – Shahada” at http://www.pmw.org.il/tv%20part1.html which just made me feel sick.
Israel has endured a lot, and frankly I am sick of the media bias in favor of terrorists. Palestine is perpetuating violence through indoctrination of their children, and this tells me unequivocally they do not want peace.
