Europe still pays to murder Jews

The Palestinians exceeded their European budget expectations last year. Europe apparently still has absolutely no qualms about funding the murder of Jews.

The international community has given 1.7 billion dollars (1.18 billion euros) in aid to the Palestinian Authority over the last year, the French foreign ministry said Wednesday.

That was 0.6 billion dollars more than was promised at a major donor conference held last December in Paris, spokesman Frederic Desagneaux said.

At that conference, donors promised to provide 7.4 billion dollars over three years, which was considerably more than the 5.6 billion dollars the Palestinians had requested.

The donors agreed to allocate 1.1 billion dollars in the first year.

“Such payments above the promises made are the concrete sign of the exceptional engagement of the international community,” Desagneaux said.

How much of that money went to Hamas, we wonder? The PA pays salaries in Gaza. Hamas rules Gaza. You do the math.

The only good news about the bad economy is that Europeans won’t be able to afford to keep on giving the Palestinians money. At least, one would hope.

Unfortunately, Israel passes this money – or allows it to be passed – on to Hamas.

    Meryl,
For a look on money and politicians, check the donors to the Clinton Slush Fund/Library.I see Blackwater gave 25 K.The bastards.Oh,and the Saudi’s gift was 10-25 Miliion. But this can’t be considered influence peddling,because…..?

Cut them off entirely. If you want to stop the fighting with the least amount of bloodshed stop giving the Arabs the dole. All transfer payments to the Palestinian Arabs should be eliminated now. Let them work for a living. If they have to live on whatever they can sell to the rest of the world they won’t have time for terrorism against Israel. And if they can’t make a living because they have done nothing anybody else would buy, c’est la vie. They should have studied business at Bir Zeit Uni instead of terrorism.

This may not work, that is the Palis may continue to attack even while they are starving to death, but it seems to me the best chance for a minimum bloodbath solution. The alternatives are likely to be much bloodier, especially for the Arabs.

Of course the Wahhabist Entity and Iran might send them money. They are actually pretty stingy with the Palis, expecting the Euros and America to pick up the tab, which we have been stupid enough to do for a long time. And with the price of oil falling our Fiends the Saudis and others there might have to choose between funding the Palis and maintaining their own grip on power at home, since that depends largely on how much money they bribe their people with. Their people have little real loyalty to them except for the money their overlords shovel out to them.

  4. Um, Meryl, the donors very much include the USA. The article doesn’t say ‘Europe’, but ‘international donors, after all:

The U.S. government will provide $550 million in direct financial support to the Palestinian Territories in 2008 and aims to leverage more in private investment funds to help spur the Palestinian economy, a senior U.S. Treasury official said on Wednesday.

In remarks prepared for delivery to the Palestine Investment Conference in Bethlehem, Deputy Treasury Secretary Robert Kimmitt said $150 million has already been transferred as budget support to the Palestinian Authority.

The United States also has pledged to provide $148 million in humanitarian aid through the United Nations, and is “requesting significant levels of assistance from Congress for next year,” Kimmitt said in remarks released in Washington.
