Boycott Israel, and let people suffer for it

An Israeli drug companing has developed a drug that not only alleviates symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease, but it slows the progression of the disease. But by all means, boycott Israeli academics, and don’t let Israeli scientists come to international conferences. Because why would you want to encourage Israeli to develop things like this?

[…] In its clinical trial, named “Adagio”, patients who took a tablet of Azilect once a day experienced slower disease progression in the early part of the trial and a steadying of symptoms in the last part of the trial, Teva said yesterday. They also experienced a smaller decrease in baseline function.

Parkinson’s disease patients who took Azilect tablets once a day from the time when they joined the trial demonstrated significant improvement compared to those who started the drug only nine months later.

Yes, go ahead, Britain. Keep working on that academic boycott of Israelis. Prevent Israelis from getting all the knowledge they need to forge ahead with improving the lives of non-Israelis. It’s not like the world needs alternative energy sources being developed by Israelis.

Yeah, go ahead. Boycott Israel. Because it’s not like Israeli scientists and entrepreneurs are doing anything special.

Oh. Wait.

Don’t forget the Iron Man like exo-skeleton either.

But don’t give them too much credit, they’re doing it for the money.

    Dastardly Zionist scum.

To many “progressives,” Israel’s scientific/economic prowess is not a feature, it’s a bug. A lot of these people are very much reactionaries and are basically opposed to civilization in any realistic form.

I take it and can vouch for it. It basically stopped me from tripping over my own feet. Teva also now supplies generic brand Requip which saves people with Parkinson’s a huge amount of money.

  4. Mog says:

Teva also makes Copaxone which I take for my MS. Great drug, I would be in much worse shape without Israeli scientific genius.

  5. Gerry says:

Not to fear:- if any of the boycotters develop Parkinson’s, or any disease, they’ll use the Israeli products.

  6. Alex Bensky says:

Now be fair, Meryl. There must be all sorts of scientific advances and drugs that help all mankind coming out of Arab universities and laboratories. You should be listing them, too.

I can’t think of any offhand but I’m sure there are any number of examples.

    Alex,

I’m thinking you are confusing the
‘advances’ that the Arabs are making
in explosives and small rockets with
    actual progress.

I’m sure all the ‘Progressives’ on the
left side of the political spectrum
decry those advances the Arabs are
making in the ‘science’ of Jew-Murder.
    NOT!

    Alex,
The most important recent discoveries by Muslim science were the determination that women’s hair gives off radiation that drives men mad with lust, thereby causing them to rape women. It is to combat this effect that Muslim women are required to cover their hair (and the rest of themselves for good measure). Both the Saudi and the Iranian flavors of Islam have discovered this effect.

The other great discovery was that Jews put the blood of gentile children in hamentaschen at Purim. This is a new riff on the ancient blood libel.

See how progressive Muslim science is?
