More palestinian child abuse

The IDF caught another teenage weapons smuggler.

The IDF captured a 16-year-old Palestinian youth carrying an explosive belt Wednesday at the Hawara checkpoint south of the West Bank town of Nablus.

The teen arrived in the area at about 2:00 p.m. holding a suspicious bag. An IDF officer spotted the suspect and alerted troops to close the checkpoint and isolate the boy.

Border Guard sappers were deployed to the scene to search the teen, and found an explosive belt made up of six small explosive devices inside the bag.

The suspect was taken in for questioning, while the sappers blew up the devices in a controlled manner.

Defense establishment officials estimate the explosives were to be used to carry out a terror attack in Israel. However, an alert officer was able to avert a potentially serious disaster.

Gee. Another terrorist catch from Nablus. What a surprise.

Not.

Still waiting to hear the UN condemn the use of children to assist in these crimes. Not holding my breath, though.

Israel should disarm the device, and then send it in a diplomatic pouch, with flowers, to the US Department of State.
