The U.S. response to palestinian terror?

More pressure on Israel.

The U.S. government is working to prevent Israeli military responses which could damage the diplomatic process, following the terror attack in Gush Etzion in which three Israelis were murdered. At the same time, the American government is pressuring the Palestinian Authority to begin disbanding armed militias.

The U.S. government, which “condemns the attacks” of terrorists, is pressing the Authority “not only to prevent terror attacks, but also to disband terror networks behind the attacks,” said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack.

But gee, it’s okay, because they’re also “pressuring” the palestinians. Of course, they’re pressuring the Israelis even more.

McCormack also referred to Israel’s decision to cut off ties with the Palestinians, saying: “The dialogue is important and the contacts are important. We hope that the sides will take the consequences of their actions into consideration.”

The comments were mainly aimed at Israel. “We understand and support Israel’s right to defend herself,” said the American spokesman. “As we are ourselves victims of terror, we understand the need and the obligation of every government to defend its citizens,” he said.

It’s so good to know that the U.S. has Israel’s back in the war on terror.

    Meryl please read
    Training Our Enemies

and see how nicely it exposes American taqyia.
IDST and the Exception Clause when it comes to terrorism and “those states that support terrorism” are illuminated by this expose.

  2. I say send Ward to Antarctica so he can officially get innocents killed on all seven continents.

Bastard screwed up Somalia and Bosnia. His reward is getting Jews killed.

Maybe I should have mentioned that even after Abbas employed terrorists as part of his security forces there was no objection to financing their training by the CIA.
The State Department and co., know full well what they are doing and should be told to cut the crap every time they mention Israel’s Security.

The U.S. government, which “condemns the attacks” of terrorists, is pressing the Authority “not only to prevent terror attacks, but also to disband terror networks behind the attacks,” said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack.

To us on the outside this seems pure BS!

The’Hyperpower’ that the US is touted to be can’t even take care of its own when confronted by PA/PLO/FATAH terror. Why should we be surprised when we ask Israel to cave just like we did?

Remember the manhunt, arrest, indictment, trial, and conviction of the Palestinian Arab murderes of these crimes against US citizens?

    You don’t??????

    Lil Mamzer,

Yes, I found America’s virtually complete lack of interest in finding and bringing to justice those terrorists who had murdered their citizens in Israel beyond belief.

There seemed to be little or no condemnation from the US, and no follow-up, especially after the Gaza attack. And the silence from the MSM was deafening.

It had all the makings of a major international incident, and yet it fizzled out after a day or two.

There can’t be another group of people on the planet who have behaved as despicably as the Palestinians and been rewarded so greatly for that behaviour.

    Bryan,

I can’t think of any group of people anywhere in the world so completely appeased, and REWARDED, for the teaching of slaughter, for the promise of slaughter, and for the actual slaughter of innocents and those from who they subsequently receive aid moneys from.

What is wrong with this administration that it keeps sending millions to dollars to the PA, and the same lame canned statement gets issued: “Now is the time for the Palestinians to dismantle the terror groups” and other such disingenuous crap. We’ve heard that every day for years, literally. First from Boucher, now from Ereli.

I saw a news factoid on Haaretz earlier today wherein Kofi Annan supposedly urged Israel not to interfere with Hamas’ participation in PA elections.

The only way I’d agree with that suggestion is to allow Hamas to win, and then unleash the barrage of 155mm cannon fire that is so overdue.

The whole world is getting excited about a Paleo state. And it’s just a competition between more radical and less radical terrorists to see who will control the gangs and the weapons, and who will syphon off the money flowing in from Europe and the USA.

    Some ‘state’.
