Briefly

Iran reaps what it sows, again: Bombs in an Iranian mall kill four and wound over 100. Sucks to be on the wrong side of the bombs, hey?

The AP can’t count. Check out this line:

The constitution is a crucial step in Iraq’s transition to democracy after two decades of rule by Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship.

Saddam Hussein came to power in 1979, after being the behind-the-scenes puppetmaster for some time. The Ba’athists came to power in 1963. By my count, Iraq hasn’t been democratic in 42 years. That’s, uh, gee–over four decades.

Why, it’s as if the AP wanted to whitewash history, or something.

What you mean we, Ba’athist? Apparently, Tariq Aziz prefers life after all. He’s going to testify against Saddam Hussein. This trial is going to get really interesting.
