To no one’s surprise, the pals are refusing to guard the synagogues that Israelis were forced to leave behind in Gaza.

The Palestinian Authority has refused a request by the Israeli government to look into the possibility of guarding synagogues in Gush Katif, according to Chief Prosecutor Avi Lihet.

Should we be shocked?

No. We’ve been down this road before.

    One wonders whether the desecration of those synagogues would resemble the hysterical destruction at Joseph’s Tomb or the more methodical approach that the Wakf prefers for the Temple Mount.
