To the pessimists out there still voting McCain

Go read Treacher.

Just scroll down and keep on scrolling.

Jim, you should be wearing a short skirt and carrying pom-poms. You’re making me think that the election isn’t over yet.

    It sure as hell ain’t.

  2. Jack says:

Short of a terrorist attack or some other major event, it is done. Johnny Mac is in big trouble.

  3. Michael Lonie says:

A lot of people make up their minds in tha last couple of weeks, even at the polling booth. Of course with all the voting fraud the Obama’s supporters are trying to carry out it might tip the election their way anyway, but still we need to go out and vote the right way no matter how many ballots come in for Obama from the address of an empty warehouse on
Skid Row (that was how the Democrats won the Washington State governor’s race in 2004, so I want nobody telling me I’m paranoid or that “everybody does it”)..

  4. Sabba Hillel says:

If the FBI and the Justice Department act, Obama may lose. Then again, perhaps the fraudulent registrations that ACORN set up may not actually vote. Then again, perhaps they deliberately submitted the obvious fraudulent registrations (Mickey Mouse and the Dallas Cowboys for example) in order to get the less obvious ones through.

  5. Jeff says:

The Republican Governor of Florida says ACORN has done nothing wrong. Have you looked into how those fraudulent registrations were found. ACORN separated a large number of them out and told the registrars that they were fake. By law they were required to turn them in. It is also voter registration fraud, not voter fraud. None of these registrations would lead to someone voting, so I hope you will believe the results and not state the election is invalid if McCain loses.

The most recent voter registration fraud arrest was a top Republican voter registration official in CA.

  6. Sabba Hillel says:

    Jeff:

How many of the registrations that ACORN did not turn in were fake? It leads me to believe that they are trying to get the more subtle fakes into the voting booth.

  7. Jim Treacher says:

“Short of a terrorist attack or some other major event, it is done.”

Joe the Plumber qualifies at the latter, and Joe the Dumber is way ahead of you on the former.

  8. Jeff says:

They turned in every registration. By law, they had to. The article states they identified ~80% that the registrars tossed. ACORN has admitted they had some bad sites and whenever an issue was raised whether they caught it or the registrar did, the person was fired. The simpler solution is that there were bad apples with various motives working for ACORN, not some grand conspiracy theory. So, I’m deciding to go with the simpler theory. You are welcome to call me naive, it would not be the first time.

  9. Robert says:

That’s not the point, Jeff. They knew it was going on. They didn’t lift a single finger to stop it. They allowed it to continue. They defended their practices in Court.

It’s a perfect example of what happens when you turn something simple over to the Government, and you want to trust them with your healthcare?!?

    Robert

  10. Michael Lonie says:

Not only that but these same problems have been going on with them for ten years. They have had plenty of time to iron out the kinks. They do not want to.

And ACORN is only the tip of the iceberg of election fraud among the Obamaniacs. Where is all that money coming from and who are the donors? Names like Good Will and Doodad Pro do not inspire confidence that the Obama campaign is conforming to the election finance laws. Then there is trying to get law enforcment officers to strong arm critics, like the ones in St. Louis or the Obama campaign’s demand to the Justice Department to prosecute critics.

The Founders bequeathed us a republic, if we could keep it. We seem to be throwing it away for a mess of pottage.

  11. Jeff says:

I don’t know how many times I have to repeat myself but this will be the last. ACORN implemented quality control systems to combat these issues and caught 80% of the fraudulent registrations. There has been no evidence of voter fraud because of ACORN. In fact, the opposite.

There has been evidence that the RNC is trying to disenfranchise voters by illegally purging voter rolls. Where is your outrage about that, considering voting is the fundamental right of our citizens.

  12. Jim Treacher says:

“I don’t know how many times I have to repeat myself but this will be the last.”

Good to hear. Say hi to Axelrod.

  13. Jeff says:

Yup, that’s me. Part of the liberal elite out here in California. Not someone from the real America.

  14. Actually, Jim, Jeff’s a regular commenter. Brainwashed, but regular.

    We’re trying to reform him.
