Lynn got me to find this site, which has the sunrise and sunsets in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Sunrise tomorrow is 11:13 a.m. Sunset is 3:31 p.m.
Quitcherbitchin, people. Just think how much it would suck to be in Iceland right now.

Yeah, you’ve gotta wonder what they find to do in Reykjavik during almost 20 hours of darkness … oh. Never mind.

Iceland, huh? Socialized medicine for all, low crime rate, high literacy rate. What’s there not to like about that?

It’s to COLD to rob anybody most of the year….. That’s why their crime rate is so low.
There’s a reason crime rates drop in Detroit during the winter.
It’s to hard running from the cops through 2 feet of snow.
I’ve tried, the snow shoes kept tripping me up.

Hah! Despite the name, it’s actually not that cold in Iceland. Average temperature in Reykjavik in January is around 32-33 degrees (Fahrenheit) — quite a bit warmer than Detroit.

Generate the table here for Fairbanks, Alaska. On December 22 it’s 1058 - 1440 actually making it less than a 4 hour day.

Ok, Fairbanks. Avg. temperature in January: minus 10. Now, that’s cold! And dark.
