Eat an animal for PETA

Don’t forget, it’s EATAPETA Day tomorrow. I’m going to be on the same radio station that interviewed me last year, but can’t get to my email to see if it’s streamed. It’s satellite, though. 11 p.m. EST, tonight. More details later.

In the meantime, go to Lair Simon’s and register your gathering.

Sarah and the twins and I are meeting for lunch, keeping with our EATAPETA Day tradition.

Where will you be?

Okay. I’m on between 11 and 11:20 p.m. Here’s the streaming audio.

A juicy sirloin steak is on tap for me tomorrow night.

    Thanks for the heads-up!

I was going to eat veggie tomorrow.

  3. Take photos. Send them to me.

Unfortunately I’ll be at home, because my five year-old Rebecca has been sick since the weekend. Assuming she’s better by Saturday, we’ll have a late EATAPETA Day celebration then.

  5. Barbecue dinner in Vegas tomorrow evening with SnoopyTheGoon (and anybody else in town who wants to join in).

Why, I will be in Houston. Unfortunately, I’ll be headed back to Atlanta tomorrow evening, so will be unable to hook up with Lair for his Trayf-Eating Festivities.

But just to cover my bases, I had leg of lamb for lunch today. Nice, succulent baby lamb, with a splash of demi-glace jus.

Maybe I’ll have some beef tomorrow. Or, better yet, veal.

This is our third year celebrating I EATAPETA Day – my favorite holiday after Halloween. I’ve been debating the menu for some time now trying to decide what cute photogenic animal I should serve up on a platter. I’m leaning towards veal but lamb sure sounds great and it’s one of my husband’s favorites. If I knew where to buy rabbit I’d snap it up in a heart beat.

    Fix bayonets and happy eating!

(I have a vegan friend who will EATAPITA in solidarity. She may be a vegan but she’s just as disgusted with PETA as we all are)
