Hamas moderation watch

Still waiting for the mythical moderation of palestinian terror organizations.

Hamas leader Mahmoud A-Zahar vowed Monday not to bow to American threats to cut aid, saying the movement did not need “satanic” US money.

[…] He ruled out making compromises to keep the money coming.

“Recognizing the state of the Israeli enemy is not on the table,” he said. “Our program is to liberate Palestine, all of Palestine,” he said.

“The Qassam Brigades will continue to increase in numbers, supplies and weapons…until the liberation is completed,” he said of the group’s military wing. He added that Hamas can develop the capabilities of its missiles.

“Anyone who thinks the calm means giving in is mistaken. The calm is in preparation for a new round of resistance and victory,” he said. “If the enemy has something to offer we will study it, but we will not abide by a truce that is for free.”

So, Vladimir Putin, how’s that moderation-wait coming? Sounds like an idea for a play to me: Waiting for Moderation.

Hamas is openly vowing to retake Jerusalem.

Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal said that the organization’s goal is to liberate Jerusalem.

“Our mission is to liberate Jerusalem and purify the al-Aqsa Mosque. Islam goes forward because its power comes from Allah and it will continue to advance in spite of its opposers,” Mashaal said during a conference in support of Hamas organized by Sudanese parties in the capital of Khartoum.

“We tell our people – the crowd gathered here supports our Jihad way and resistance,’ he added.

“God is leading us to victory and liberation,” he said.

I’m thinking not. But it’s good that you’re living up to your nickname, Hamassholes.

Does Mr. Zahar think that the bad comb over he sports is fooling anyone or is that just a rats nest on his head? If big bravado talk were weapons then the Palestinains would conquer the world.

  2. Cynic says:

If you want to stick to the facts then just stick with MEMRI.
“Like Any Other Land Muslims Have Conquered By Force”

MEMRI has done a remarkable service for civilization, providing an accurate and complete translation of the Hamas covenant that should be required reading for anyone deluded enough to believe (or dishonest enough to try to convince the West) that Hamas will renounce terrorism and recognize Israel.

  3. Eik says:

If they don’t want the U.S.’s “satanic” money, why are they keeping all the money and aid they’ve probably already recieved?

  4. Michael Lonie says:

Where Hamas is concerned shouldn’t that be “Murderation”?
