Hamas rejectionism, continued

So let’s see what the latest signs of Hamas’ moderations may be today:

Ismail Haniyeh, a leading Hamas figure from the Gaza Strip, told The Associated Press that recognition of Israel is “out of the question. What we would like to emphasize is that the Israeli occupation has to recognize first the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”

When asked about the fate of Hamas fighters and their weapons, Abu Marzouk said “Hamas fighters will remain mujahedeen, (holy warriors). Concerning their weapons, Hamas is the authority and weapons will be handed over to the authority,” he said in an interview with AP at a Cairo hotel where the group is staying.

Mashaal’s deputy, Moussa Abu Marzouk, said Hamas would stick to its calls for the eventual elimination of Israel, to be replaced by a Palestinian state where Jews would be allowed to live.

“When historic Palestine is reinstated, they can come and live among us. They will have a Palestinian nationality,” he told AP.

I do see signs of moderation. Hamas isn’t saying they’re going to kill all the Jews. Hey! What do you know! This election thing is working!

Great. Those Jews who want to live as dhimmis will be allowed to live.

The rhetoric “historic Palestine” is just verbal dung.

    “Historic Palestine” was Jewish.
    Never let them forget it.
