Good news for Israel: The ICC ruled that it has no real jurisdiction over the Marvelous Mimbletonia, the Ship of Terrorists used by Islamists to try to create an international incident while pretending to run the Gaza blockade. Of course, … Continue reading →

Good news for Israel: The ICC ruled that it has no real jurisdiction over the Marvelous Mimbletonia, the Ship of Terrorists used by Islamists to try to create an international incident while pretending to run the Gaza blockade. Of course, that didn’t stop the ICC from saying the IDF probably committed war crimes, but hey, at least Turkey doesn’t get a media circus that generates worldwide “ISRAEL COMMITTED WAR CRIMES!1!!11!” headlines. Oh, and Turkey? Fuck you.

Trying to change the narrative: The PLO has issued a press release telling the media they shouldn’t call the Temple Mount the Temple Mount. Yet another example of the Islamicizing of <strike>Jerusalem</strike> al-Quds. Don’t worry, the world is poised to negate Israel’s Jewish roots. But first they have to get rid of those pesky Jews. They keep trying.

Worst decision Moshe Dayan ever made was giving the Temple Mount to the Islamic Waqf. If he had insisted on Jewish rights to it in 1967, we’d have had years of Muslims freaking out over Jews praying at their holiest site… yeah, I really do believe that. It wouldn’t be any better.

Also, check out this unbelievably biased AP piece. Of course it’s Israel’s fault that Muslims are rioting on the Temple Mount. The easily found proof that Hamas pays Palestinians to riot? It’s too hard for the AP to find.

The attacks came after Palestinians clashed with police at the holy compound — known as the Temple Mount to Jews and the Noble Sanctuary to Muslims — over a push by Israeli activists to widen access to Jews visiting the site.

The clashes, which erupted as Palestinians threw stones and firecrackers in response to a demonstration by Israeli activists, prompted Jordan — which has custodial rights to the site as part of its 1994 peace agreement with Israel — to recall its ambassador in protest at the actions of Israeli security forces.

And the wife of the first attacker said he had been angered by the confrontation at the site earlier in the day.

Elder of Ziyon has video of those “activists“–which always turn out to be religious Jews walking around on the Temple Mount.

World’s tiniest violin: Awww. John Galliano lost his case against Christian Dior. Turns out that it’s okay to fire someone who goes on video and says that Jews should be gassed. Oh, and John? Fuck you.

Don’t worry, they’ll find a way to blame Israel: A massive dust storm hit Tehran with 70 mph winds, killing at least four people.

Don’t worry, they’ll find a way to blame Israel: A massive dust storm hit Tehran with 70 mph winds, killing at least four people. Too bad it wasn’t, say, during a show when all the ayatollahs were on the reviewing stand. Ah, well. A girl can dream.

Well, yes: Israeli Cabinent ministers are saying that the Hamas-Fatah unity deal shows that the Palestinians don’t want peace. Gee, what gave it away? Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal saying that “resistance” (read: Terror attacks) will continue even after the unity deal?

That’s gotta hurt: It wasn’t a World Cup match, but the U.S. beat Turkey in a friendly game. Oh, the shame, the shame!

Fighting back: Nigerian Christians had about as much as they could take. They went after a group of Boko Haram attackers and killed 37 of them. More, please.

Sure, when hell freezes over: Iran has summoned Mark Zuckerberg to court over Facebook’s violations of privacy. Yeah, I can totally see a Jewish billionaire showing up in an Iranian kangaroo court.

Sure, when hell freezes over: Iran has summoned Mark Zuckerberg to court over Facebook’s violations of privacy. Yeah, I can totally see a Jewish billionaire showing up in an Iranian kangaroo court. That’s as likely to happen as, oh, Facebook actually caring about user privacy.

Yes, the Iranians are playing Obama: So much for those negotiations accomplishing anything other than Iran’s goals, which we’ve been noting for years.

“Those [Iranians] who want to promote negotiations and surrender to the oppressors and blame the Islamic Republic as a warmonger in reality commit treason,” he said Sunday during a public address to members of parliament, Fars News Agency reported.

Think that’s the worst thing he said? Think again.

In response to a question by a parliamentarian on how long this battle will continue, Khamenei said,“Battle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist. … This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought. … This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides.”

All they’ve ever been doing is playing for time while they get nuclear weapons. Which they will then use to bad effect. And our current president doesn’t seem to grasp that.

Sure, they’re friends again: A Turkish court is asking Interpol to issue warrants for the arrest of four Israeli commanders because of the Marvelous Mumbletonia, the ship that tried to break the “siege” of Gaza. But hey, it’s all good. Turkey wants to be pals with Israel again. Because that’s what friends do–try to get international warrants issued for the top military leaders of their pal’s country.

Venezuela is burning, and the world doesn’t care: I just checked my Google News feed, and there’s not a single story about Venezuela in either Top News or the World categories. Meantime, the tropical basij rode motorcyles through the night, killing civilians who weren’t even protesting, the military bombarded apartment buildings with tear gas canisters, and nobody in the mainstream media cares. A friend on my FB feed commented that she gets her international news from Imgur now. Sadly, they’ve been covering the Venezuelan protests better and longer than the MSM. You know what’s high up on the “Top Stories” list? Jimmy Fallon. Because he’s SO much more important than Venezuelans being murdered by thugs.

Yeah, who didn’t see this coming? Considering that the Islamists are still calling Spain “Al-Andalus”, is anyone surprised that Muslims want in on the repatriation of Spanish citizenship that it’s giving Spain’s Jews? Pssst… here’s a hint… if you got tossed out because YOU INVADED THE COUNTRY, you don’t get to claim citizenship.

Still no 45-minute dressing-down: The prime minister of Turkey announced that there will be no deal with Israel until the “siege” of Gaza is lifted–this, after months of negotiations leading to an Israeli payoff to the families of the nine terrorists of the Mavi Marmara. Let us remember that Hillary Clinton called Benjamin Netanyahu and yelled at him for 43 minutes. Well, President Obama called his best bud Erdogan and told him he really, really should make nice with Israel.

A statement released by the White House regarding the two leaders’ conversation noted that the two spoke of “the importance of quickly concluding (Turkey’s) normalization agreement with Israel.”

Compare this to the 43 minutes Bibi had to listen to Hillary shriek over the phone–because tenders for new buildings were issued by a government office over which he had no control. During the peace process. You know, the process where Palestinian spokesliars keep on saying things like Israel is deliberately sabotaging the peace process. This goes unchallenged and unpunished. Because that’s the narrative. It’s always Israel’s fault, even though, clearly, it is not.

This is why Israel shouldn’t be paying a dime: Erdogan says there will be no normalizing of relations with Turkey unless Israel lifts the “siege” of Gaza. Sure, stop the IDF from preventing Syria, Lebanon, and Iran from transporting tons of weapons openly. Because what country doesn’t want to be part of its own destruction? By the way, it’s interesting to note that the Obama administration pressured Israel to make nice with Turkey, but there is no evidence it is doing the same with Turkey. Sure, he’s Israel greatest friend. Uh-huh.

Take that, BDSholes: This is highly amusing. An Israeli scholar is trying to get other scholars to retract or disavow references in their theses to any scholar that supports divestment from Israel.

“Obviously, my request for Penn State to allow me to remove references to her work is symbolic, really a political gesture, and I was hyperbolic and dramatic about it to make this point. But, really, even having her name associated with my writing makes me very ashamed,” Hiuni said.

Another Palestinian criticism of Kerry that will be ignored: The Palestinians are calling Kerry’s plan “useless“. There is no administration backlash or threats. Gee, it’s almost like they only pick on Israel, or something.

The horrifying Iranian naval tour: J.E. Dyer has the most amusing take on Iran’s threats to violate American territorial waters with its fearful two-boat armada. You should read it for a giggle or two.

CVS goes nonsmoking: CVS is going to stop selling cigarettes in October, which will lose them about $2 billion in revenue. The cynic in me says they’re doing it for publicity, but the tiny part of me that is not cynical thinks it makes sense to be a drugstore and not sell cancer sticks. The nonsmoker in me approves. But I wonder if CVS will also refuse to sell marijuana if/when it becomes legal to sell in drugstores.

Scapegoats found: They killed Philip Seymour Hoffman, therefore, they must be punished. NYPD arrested four suspects who they think sold Hoffman the heroin that killed him. Isn’t it amazing how they manage to find and punish people like this when a celebrity dies, but there is still no justice for Katie Granju’s son–who died in the hospital after his “friends” refused to call 911, and who might have been saved.

Pot, meet kettle: I mean, really. The UN has the gall to lecture the Catholic Church about sex abuse scandals involving minors? Pardon me while I chant “a plague on both their houses!”

Why? Why are they getting one thin dime? Israel is negotiating a $20 million dollar payment to the families of the dead terrorists from the Mimbletonian Marbleboat. There is no reason they should be paying this money out. The people who died boarded that boat with the express purpose of murdering Israelis.

Tick-tock: Iran is using the talks to cheat and retreat, with the willing aid of idiots like Catherine Ashton. Yes, Virginia, there will be an Iranian nuclear bomb, and it will be soon.

Israeli Samurais: Israel named its new boat, designed to protect the oil rigs (among other things) the Katana. We approve.

Readers will probably not remember this, but Israel had to cancel a military deal with China after the U.S. angrily pressured Ariel Sharon not to upgrade UAVs that had already been sold to China. Here’s what happened to Israel: The … Continue reading →

Readers will probably not remember this, but Israel had to cancel a military deal with China after the U.S. angrily pressured Ariel Sharon not to upgrade UAVs that had already been sold to China. Here’s what happened to Israel:

The agreement aims to resolve a dispute that arose last year over Israel’s plans to provide spare parts for a fleet of Harpy armed drone aircraft it sold to China in the 1990s with U.S. approval. U.S. defense officials objected on the grounds that the spare parts constituted a significant upgrade of the anti-radar aircraft, possibly including the addition of sensors that could even detect radar sites that are turned off.

The Pentagon ended cooperation with Israel on at least one joint weapons project and ceased contact with a senior official in the Israeli Defense Ministry. Under the terms of the agreement, as outlined by Haaretz, the Israeli government will not return the drone components to China and expects to pay compensation. The senior official, Maj. Gen. Amos Yaron, the ministry’s director general, will retire in a few months, as he said he has planned.

Turkey is planning to supply China with an anti-missile defense system. Turkey is a member of NATO, and has already betrayed Israeli spies to Iran. Is there any reason to think it won’t give up NATO secrets to China, including supplying them with anti-missile defenses specifically keyed to NATO member nations’ (hint: That’s us) missiles? So how does the Obama Administration treat this egregious betrayal? Like this:

The United States is talking to Turkey about its concerns regarding Ankara’s decision to co-produce a long-range air and missile defense system with a Chinese firm that is currently under U.S. sanctions, U.S. Ambassador Francis Ricciardone said on Thursday.

“We are very concerned about the prospective deal with the sanctioned Chinese firm. Yes, this is a commercial decision, it is Turkey’s sovereign right, but we are concerned about what it means for allied air defense,” Ricciardone told reporters.

Turkey, a member of the NATO military alliance, announced in September it had chosen the FD-2000 missile defense system from China Precision Machinery Import and Export Corp, or CPMIEC, over rival systems from Russian, U.S. and European firms.

Let us compare and contrast. The U.S. canceled a joint weapons project with Israel. Israel was forced to cancel a deal with China. Its defense minister was forced into retirement because the U.S. refused to talk to him. Turkey? Well, we are “talking” to them about not going into this deal with a Chinese company under sanctions for violating UN sanctions on Iran.

Israel is our most reliable ally in the Middle East. Turkey is working with our enemies. This administration has proven over and over again that it treats our enemies better than our allies. And it is obviously not about to change.

So when does Israel get to declare Turkey an enemy? Turkey betrayed an Israeli spy ring to Iranian authorities last year, severely damaging Israel’s intelligence gathering in Iran, not to mention damaging Israel’s and the U.S. effort to stop the Iranians from getting nuclear weapons. Of course Turkey denies it and says it’s just to make them look bad. But sure, let’s pretend Turkey’s Islamist leaders are the West’s allies. Because all allies betray spy rings like that. Oh. Wait.

Of course they wanted another Gilad Shalit: Why wouldn’t Hamas want to kidnap more Israeli soldiers? They got thousands of terrorists, including mass murderers, released in exchange for one soldier. So of course they took advantage of Israel letting construction materials into Gaza to use 500 tons of cement meant to rebuild civilian homes to fortify a mile-long terror tunnel, 300 meters of which were underneath Israeli territory. And oh yeah, it’s a violation of the cease-fire. But when did that ever matter to Palestinians? The PA has been violating Oslo for years, and nobody cares.

Where’s the outrage? Say, remember the world outrage when Mossad agents were found to have forged passports from other nations to get into Dubai and kill a master terrorist? Remember how Australia and the EU simply frothed at the mouth over this horrible crime and threatened to expel Israeli diplomats from many countries? Think they’ll get upset about Iranians caught using forged Israeli passports? Nah, me neither. Because what time is it, folks? That’s right, it’s Israeli Double Standard Time. But don’t worry, it only occurs on days that end with a “y”.

Trolling the Iranians: The Obama Administration is so good at choosing gifts. Just ask the Brits. Now, it turns out that supposed million-dollar antique Obama gave to Rouhani? Fake. Yes, I laughed.

Smart power! The best thing about the Obama administration suspending some military aid to Egypt? They’ve managed to piss off everyone in Egypt. Oh yeah–the Saudis are against the Brotherhood, and Israel is against cutting aid to Egypt. Awesome job, Kerry. Awesome.

Just imagine the outrage if Israel did this: Egyptian soldiers are basically using a scorched earth policy to rid the Sinai of Muslim Brotherhood terrorists–but of course, the world isn’t interested in that kind of brutality. Because it isn’t Americans or Israelis doing it.

Guess the world is bored with it now: Oh, look. Another show trial in Turkey over the Marvelous Marmalade incident. Their level of excellence is astonishing. One witness says Israelis fired from the helicopters. The exact quote: “He must have been shot from the air.” From a doctor? No, an anti-Israel “activist” who was on the ship.

Red line crossed: Barack Obama said that chemical weapons would be the Syrian red line.

Red line crossed: Barack Obama said that chemical weapons would be the Syrian red line. Bashar al-Assad used them earlier this year, and the U.S. refused to agree that they’d been used. So now, hundreds of men, women, and children are dead of a nerve gas attack. I don’t want to get involved in Syria. But there must be something we can do to stop this.

This’ll piss ’em off even more: Hosni Mubarak may be released from jail as soon as today. I wonder if the generals will be looking for his advice in the current struggle.

There are so many I can’t tell which side is lying: The Palestinian spokespeople lie every time they open their mouths. But a large part of me wants to believe that Erekat isn’t lying this time when he says the Obama Administration guaranteed the 1949 armistice lines as the border of a Palestinian state.

Crossing the line: Obama’s bestest Middle East buddy, who made the world laugh when he accused Israel of being behind the unrest in Egypt, is being taken to the woodshed by a White House spokesman, who calls his comments “offensive, unsubstantiated and wrong”. I do note that Obama hasn’t said a word about it. But of course. He never makes mistakes. Even better, Egyptian officials are being quoted as saying that it’s utterly natural for Israel to be concerned about Egypt. I believe that’s diplo-speak for “In your face, asshat!”
