As for their eagerness for a deal, however rotten, just so it’s a deal, anybody with an ounce of sense knows that the side that is too eager for a deal gets taken to the cleaners. This truism isn’t limited to diplomacy, but is found in any negotiations. Didn’t these jerks learn about that in law school or working for a legal firm?

Iranian officials have been boasting for years about how possession of nukes will enable Iran to take out Israel, a one bomb country in their parlance. Hasn’t anybody in this incompetent administration been paying attention for the last decade or more? And it’s not a threat only to Israel. What part of “Death to America” do they not understand?

Israel is not allowed to participate in negotiations over a genocidal threat to the Jews. They are to be presented with a fait accompli by the negotiating powers. They are expected to lump it, no matter how dangerous it is. The parallel with Munich is eerie. That’s exactly what the Czechs got in 1938. This repetition of history is not farce, but presages a tragedy even worse than what happened to the Czechs.
