I asked ahead of time if I could have the tooth and he said there wouldn’t be much left of it. I didn’t really want to see it. Bad enough I had to have it out.

If you keep the tooth, you can put it back on the day of Resurrection. Colonial Massachsetts farmers used to keep the teeth they lost and had the teeth buried with them for that purpose.

I had four impacted wisdom teeth pulled when I was in my 20s. It is not my favorite memory.
