And why should they? Arabs slaughtering one another is the scenery of every Arab nation-state for the last thousand years. The National Journal ran an article a few days ago calling the Egyptian violence ‘…the worse since the Palestinian uprising’ which is true as long as you ignore the ongoing civil war in Syria, the nascent civil war in Lebanon, all of Yemen, Libya and of course Egypt itself for the last 2 years. Now perhaps it’s just an obligatory jab at the Jews but just as likely they simply don’t notice when Arabs massacre a few thousand of each other.
