As for the US fixation on forcing Israel to make peace with those whose goal is the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jews, this irrational fixation may be due to the fact that Israel is the only country in the world that the US regards as a de facto colony. So many US officials are convinced that Israel is the only stumbling block to wonderfulness in the Middle East (after all, that’s what their Arab friends tell them all the time), and to the US having tremendous influence and benign relations with all those countries that now are hostile (which includes our Arab “friends” like the Wahhabist Entity). Thus the US inches toward doing to Israel what the Europenas have tried to do. In fact, turning on Israel would gain the US no points with the Arabs, other Muslims, or the Euros for that matter. All we would get is a justified contempt and hatred for stabbing in the back a friend and ally. Well, the US has done a lot of that over the last 40 years, now hasn’t it?
