Ah, the brave journalists, speaking truth to power.

Do you suppose we’d see all these antisemitic cartoons and slanted news stories if the Mossad went after the worst offenders? How fortunate for the antisemites that Jews are willing to criticize and stay within the law and civilized behavior in opposing their hate for the Jews.

Since Israel’s enemies aim at the destruction of Israel (not some compromise peace) and that would entail a renewed genocide of the Jews (at the very least ethnic cleansing of them from the Land of Israel), Anti-Zionism is not operationally distinguishable from Antisemitism. Therefore, those who support Israel’s enemies (as the author of that cartoon plainly does, or he would not have invoked the blood libel in “criticizing Israel’s policies” as he did) are Antisemites.

ger, several years ago I watched Jenin: Massacring the Truth by Martin Himmel, a Canadian film maker, who asked Benson why the cartoon was of Sharon when one could equally well draw it of Arafat. His response, ON CAMERA, was, "Well, Jews don't issue fatwas, do they?"

When the Sharon “cartoon” was published, I asked Tim Benson, President of the British Political Cartoonist Society, to send me just one cartoon drawn by a British political cartoonist which was critical of Arafat in a similar manner.

His reply:- He couldn’t do so, because “They {the cartoonists} would suffer death, wouldn’t they?”
