Read Preachers of Hate by Kenneth Timmerman which I’ve just finished and its excellent. The blood libel is used actively by Jihadis and the Left. It is implied in the tin meat posters they use on campuses, etc. The Left celebrates that and certainly didn’t mind that libel when it accomplished their goals. I would also like to put out the Loughner may be crazy but he may not be the loner people say he is. He at least had frequent contacts with people he needed in order to secure his drugs. I would not be surprised that this drug culture was also a Left wing hate culture.

It would seem that drawing attention to the term “blood libel” informs the public of the history of false attacks against God’s chosen people. I have heard no one object to the term “Frozen Chosin” in talking about the marines in Korea.

Who? All I’ve seen is the right saying, “Hey, he’s not a righty, he’s crazy.”

What few real world beliefs he had were lefty, but saying that isn’t the same as blaming the left.

The guy thought there was some conspiracy in the polarity of magnets.
Blaming his actions on politics is silly.
