I let my decades-long subscription to The New Republic lapse and I’m now getting the Weekly Standard. Jay Goldberg quoted me in NR on line once, and whereas at one time I would have been a bit embarrassed to have anyone know I read National Review, now I was a bit miffed that he didn’t quote me by name.

And don’t get me started on what happened to The Sporting News.
