To go with Yankev’s theme, whenever I get a song stuck in my head, I start playing a Monkees’ song in my head. Last Train to Clarksville ot Daydream Believer work well. Of course then you have a Monkees’ song in your head. Choose your poison I guess.

The best cure for an earworm is a different earworm.

You could try humming — or worse, singing — “Bye, bye, Ms. American Pie,” but the refuah would be worse than the makkah. Maybe the Carlebach niggun of your choice would be safer.
