“Muslims fear backlash from tomorrow’s train bombing.”

That was the satirical line that a commenter at Tim Blair’s, I think, used to expose the hollowness of the “feared backlash” against Muslims.

How about if Muslims drive out of their communities the imams and others who support jihad? If they suppressed the terrorists and their enablers among them they would have no reason to fear any “backlash”.

Meanwhile, the left refuses to even acknowledge that the Fort Hood shooting was a terrorist act and insists upon laying blame here, there, and elsewhere, but anywhere other than on the murderer, himself.

They blame the Bush administration or an alleged “culture of hatred” in the US or the military or… or… or… anything but the guy who actually committed the crime.

Geez instead of protecting the perpetrators, the authorities should be taking the necessary steps to protect the public from this “islamic backlash” (assault). But they are to PC to care.

In reply to long_rifle. Actually, there was a backlash in some parts of the U.S. Remember the group of thugs who headed for a Chicago-area mosque? They were stopped dead by hordes of police. Because here in America, our police actually protect minorities, unlike, say, in the Arab and Muslim world.

This is JUST like the time that ten thousand Catholics went crazy, BURNED down Canton MI, and killed hundreds of comic book fans over Kevin Smith’s movie Dogma. In which Catholicism was lampooned and made fum of!

Or the time a Jew killed people, and the leaders of the Jewish faith supported him and were only saddened that he didn’t kill more!

Or…. Or…. Hold on…

Wait a minute…. What backlash? (foul language ahead) What the #$@^ are they talking about? Over 3,000 Americans were killed and there was never any real backlash! Muslims in Dearborn CELEBRATED the attacks, and there was never any backlash!

What a bunch of political correct bull shit! LEt’s imagine for a second what REAL backlash is.

What would have happened in Iran if 13 people had been killed by a Jew screaming “Am Yisrael Chia!” (spelling, sorry) There would have been an instant and REAL backlash, hundreds of people would have been killed in anger.

And what would happen if an entire movie was made lampooning Islam? I’m sure it would involve a death threat. And many “sensitive” countries would ban it.

What a bunch of ass hats. Pulling the wool over the eyes of the idiots in this country. I don’t know what’s worse. Dear leader and his cronies doing this, of the American people LETTING them do this…
