No, he played a judge. You’re thinking of another short guy from the south that David Kelly likes to use. I forget his name. He was the mayor in Picket Fences, I think.

Who was Henry Gibson on Boston Legal? Was he the guy who killed his mother and then was killed by Betty White? He also had a role in “Sisters” as manufacturer of cheap clothing.

Very sad to hear of both these departures, particularly as we’ve lost the divine Patrick Swayze this week, and here in the UK, Keith Floyd, our first celebrity chef.

I saw Mary Travers being interviewed only recently and was shocked at her appearance. I hadn’t realised she was ill.

May they all have seats on G-d’s right hand, even though that side must be getting a little crowded.

While I didn’t like PP&M’s politics I loved their music.
In March I auditioned for “America’s Got Talent” with ‘If I had a Hammer”.
The producers said it was a good choice for me.
