Yeah, if our grandsons (ages 10, 7, and 4) still lived here in Colorado, we all would have had a great time watching it. Raiden, the 7-year-old, would have especially loved the shark eating the plane and the ships. ..bruce..

Hey, I’ve got another drinking game- spot the stock footage. No, wait we would be comatose well before the end of the movie.

Bruce, even the kids noticed that it was the same ship’s corridor, the same stock footage of sharks, the same effects shots repeated. And the seven-year-olds weren’t afraid once they realized how lame the shark looked.

But we had fun. That was the point of watching it.

I watched this. While I thought the shark attacking the plane was cool, I still think I suffered a permanent 2d6 hit to IQ from having watched this all the way through. And I think the whole film cost maybe $2 million. The same corridor kept showing up on different ships, usually just with different color overhead lighting. It is possible for cheap, cheesy SF to be entertaining without causing brain damage; "Infestation" on SyFy a week or two earlier was worth the two hours. ..bruce..

Hey, it had a mega shark and a giant octopus, it delivered what it promised.

I personally liked when it chewed up the destroyer on the way to eating the bridge.

Maybe it had an iron deficiency.
