I got that one and had to respond.
I wrote, “Thanks, you made me laugh”.

I got a form response right away about how they want to respond but they get so many emails.
I wonder if I’ll get a fuller response. I hope so.

We have to do something. 2. This is something. 3. Let’s do it.

His statement was that people who oppose Obamacare are defending the status quo. I suppose in a sense that’s true, but there are worse imaginable situations than the one we have and preventing something worse is as important right now as coming up with something better.

There is a saddening subtext to the Iron Dome news, besides that it’s going to be an expensive system to run. Whatever talents Jews have as a people, we can safely say that practical politics isn’t among them. But creativity and innovation seem to be, and I can’t help wondering what contributions to the human condition Israel would come up with if so much of its talents and resources weren’t devoted to staying alive.

And thanks for a brief, happy moment. For a second I thought UNFIL had cited 1,701 violations, rather than a violation of Resolution 1701.
