He tells Hamas not to engage in brutal savagery and violence. He also tells the Palestinians to at least cut down on the constant vile anti-Semitism that spews from every Palestinian media outlet, mosque, and office. I am sure he’ll do that at some point. But anyone want to bet whether this will be monitored and responses made when none of the filth from the Palestinians abates in the slightest?

I didn’t vote for him, Meryl. I am still a member of Ameinu (former Labor Zionists) mostly for social reasons. I once asked my fellow members who are involved in non-Jewish progressive activities whether they ever brought up Israel in those groups and agitated for genuine negotiations and pressure on the Palestinians, with verifiable monitoring.
