Even though Palestinian claims are often absurdly wide of the mark–the casualties list from Gaza seems to lessen every day, it turns out five hundred people were not massacred in Jenin, etc. Nevertheless, Palestinian claims are taken as true and Israeli claims are just that, claims.

I wonder if the fact that access to the Palestinian territories is not free and reprisals are taken against agencies and reporters who do not toe the Palestinian line has anything to do with it?
