Drill Baby Drill! Hope they find oil too. And while they’re at it, Israel should take advantage of the West’s self-inflicted idiocy and take nuclear and hydrogen energy to the next level, why leave that to China (and Iran)?

Of course, the UN will claim that Israel has no right to drill for that gas. The leftists will charge Israel with “violating” the Kyoto Treaty and wit “polluting” the Meditteranean. They will also pretend that the gas “belongs” to Lebanon and not Israel.

Well, it depends on how large the gas field is, but if it is large enough, the political implications are huge.
