Alex, long ago my parents belonged to what might be called the Scoop Jackson wing of the Democratic Party, strong on defense, strong anti-Communist, and strong in support of Israel. By 1972 we realized that this wing was dead, and the Democratic Party had been taken over by the heirs of Henry Wallace and even more radical people (like the Alinsky followers who dominate it now). Except for the brief fling with Bill Clinton, and that only superficially, the party has been in their grasp ever since. We took the hint in 1972. It was really the case, as Reagan said of his own progression, that the Democratic Party left us, not the other way round.

Instead of having a prominent Democrat and a prominent Republican speak against Iran, no prominent figure from either party will do so. This is entirely because of the efforts of pro-Democrats.

Remind me again that both parties favor country above party.

I used to describe myself as a member of the Joe Lieberman wing of the Democratic Party. Well, so much for that. The party, which I belonged to for several decades, made it clear it doesn’t have room for me. I can take a hint.

When we will all learn. Mr. Solomont, Obama’s finance manager is giving representing a dinner for Ahmadinejad this week. Obama has ties to the Islamic and Muslim communities, but I think you know that.

You support him, yet he can’t be trusted. Obviously, you’ve never been threatened by his surrogots, so it is easy for you to overlook that inequity. He always has plausible deniability blaming others or his campaign–how convenient.

Obama has called Israel an open wound! When is the American Jewish Community going to wake up? In Obama and his cult following I see the same qualities of a long ago German leader had possessed. He will not defend Israel as he has stated in his book if political winds change is will support the Muslims. I am wondering if you have heard of his plan to develop a security group to police our police–to better protect the people of the USA. I visualize the group all wearing tan colored shirts.

I did my homework on Mr. Obama. It is up to every Jew to do theirs. The Democratic Party belongs to Obama now; it is not the “peoples” party!

This is not the time to turn a blind eye to what has been happening. I am voting for John McCain. At least I know if Israel were to be threatened, McCain would defend her. I vote for the war hero, the man with character and integrity. I will not vote for a wolf in sheep’s clothing with questionable friends and a questionable background.
