All that will do is get the “World Opinion” more angry with Israel. They are constantly going on about settlements already as an obstacle to peace, as if there was peace before Israel conquered Judea and Samaria as a result of the Arabs’ attempted extermination of Israel and its Jews. None of the clowns wh make such a fuss about such things seem to remember that such an Arab attack was the origin of the “occupation”. It’s as if they think that one day those mean, nasty Jews woke up and decided to attack the poor, peace-loving Arabs and take over their terrirtory.

No, claiming the while of Eretz Israel will bring Israel only more grief.

Israel must take the first step before the world comes around to see Abbas for who he is, an unrepented terrorist.

Israel commits the fundamental mistake when it does not claim all of the land of Israel as rightfully Jewish land. The timid Israeli stand lends legitimacy to Arab Imperialism. Arab imperialism, also known as “Submission” or “Islam”, claims that any land that Arabs (or their Muslim followers) have even conquered forever belongs to Allah.

The world will listen, but only when Israel takes a firm stand, for it’s to all of the Land of Israel.

Herschel, I hope you are right but I have no optimism about it.

Shireen, it won’t make a bit of difference. There has been plenty of evidence for well over a decade that the PA is filled with terrorists and that the Oslo Accords were negotiated by them in total bad faith. Nobody pays attention, and everybody continues to press Israel to give more and more concessions to these terrorist thugs. Their goal is the destruction of Israel and the genocide of its Jewish population (yes, that includes Fatah). Nobody pays any attention, even though the evidence in the form of Palestinian Arab declarations and actions is manifest.

No,the world will not see Abbas as a low life terrorist, they will continue to see him as Israel’s “peace partner”. And they will continue to criticize Israel for not being nicer to him.

This may sound like wishful thinking, but IMO, Kuntar will be monitored by Israeli agents in Lebanon, and will meet with a fitting end at a later point in time.
There is a lot going on behind the scenes that we do not need to know about.
The Israeli leaders for obvious reasons, are not sharing all that they know!

Kuntar should have been tried and executed after being captured. Keeping him in prison made it almost inevitable that something like this would happen, sooner or later.

I understand the historical reasons why Israelis tend to oppose capital punishment, but it makes no sense in a war against terrorists. It is strange moral reasoning that says you can kill a terrorist with a JDAM missile…always with the possibility of hitting the wrong target…but you can’t shoot him after trial.
