There are a tiny number of tolerant verses, declared when Muhammed was still in Mecca. The bloodthristy and Imperialistic verses are more numerous, and postdate the hijra, thereby aquiring greater authority than the earlier verses.

I’m not intending to hold my breath waiting for it.

Time for an Islamic Enlightenment, before the jihad and its practitioners provoke a much more massive and bloody war. Most of the blood, by the way, would be Muslim.
