But if their broken society is ever repaired, their children might not hate the Jews as much. Hate is more important to the Palestinians than life itself; the prospect of condemning their children to a life without hate is something they dare not contemplate, no matter how wealthy they would become in the bargain.

Instead on concentrating how to infiltrate Israel and to kill Israelis, they should use there efforts to try to repair there broken society.

The key phrase is, “on our own terms.” Their terms, which the MSM tries desperately to ignore, require the death of all Jews in the world. Until those terms are met, they will spurn any attempt to grant them self-determination, modernity, access to markets and their own economic power, or freedom for civil society to evolve.

First, I realize that it’s impossible to use the land given up for crop growing, and likely for other useful purposes, because the Philistines (yes, that’s exactly who they are,) will do everything they can to dirty the land should they realize their expulsion is imminent.

Still, using this incident as proof, as well as other similar incidents, that’s what Israel should attempt. Simply tell ’em that the land give-away was an experiment, an attempt to encourage good citizenship and neighborlyness on the part of PLO and Hamas, but that it has failed. Sorry. And go get that land back.

And this time, take some Gaza land too, because they need to see that their bad conduct has costs and the currency of land and power is almost all that they seem to understand.

Will it work? No. Probably not. But we get to kill a lot of Philistines in the process. And as raw as this is, unfortunately Israel is in a situation where their neighbors are mere Nazi’s. And it’s us or them. I truly wish it were otherwise, but that’s not what I see ahead. (Does anyone differ?)

I don’t like saying this (since I am a conservative and a Republican,) but the GWB administration has not helped Israel at all. And America encouraged this foolish, even ugly land give-away.
