Remember Terry Waite? In 1987, he tried to negotiate for the release of hostages held in Lebanon. The terrorists took him prisoner and held him for years in solitary confinement as their response.

And even after this, the guy still volunteers to negotiate with terrorists.

Some people will never learn.
