As for the harassment of the “half-American” student, if it really happened some disciplinary action may be called for. I rather doubt it happened. And how did he get to be half? Is he half a citizen? It reminds me of Strephon from Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera Iolanthe. I paraphrase: “My brain is [an American] brain, but from the waist downward I’m a gibbering idiot.”
