The dual loyalty canard strikes again

The Obama administration is accusing U.S. Jews of being puppets of the Israeli government. Where have we heard that before? Oh yeah, that’s right. Only in every dual loyalty charge, ever.

A US official close to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry said both men are disturbed over what is being perceived in their inner circle as “Jewish activism in Congress” that they think is being encouraged by the Israeli government, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.

The official has informed Israeli government figures that the president and secretary of state are disappointed over repeated attacks made against them by leading members of the Jewish community in the US.

And what are these “attacks”? Why, American Jewish leaders telling Obama that he’s wrong on Iran, and that he’s wrong to push for Palestinian statehood at the expense of the more pressing issues, like, say, industrial-scale murders in Syria.

Let’s just call this what it is: Slamming Jews with the dual loyalty canard because they’re not marching in lockstep with the Obama Administration’s take on Middle East peace and Iran.

According to Israel Radio, Israeli diplomats and foreign officers have warned against this trend. According to officials based in foreign missions, the Israeli government is increasingly being viewed as fanning the flames among American Jews by encouraging them to promote the official government position while making no room for opposing viewpoints.

Yes, there it is. Jews are not allowed to have opinions of their own if they diverge from what The One has declared they must be. You must agree with Obama and Kerry on Iran. You must agree with Obama and Kerry on the Palestinians. If you don’t, you are obviously being manipulated by Israel. Because God forbid Jews have minds of their own. The saying “Two Jews, three opinions?” Forget about it, it doesn’t count when it comes to denying The One what he wants.

Let’s not forget that more than 80% of America’s Jews voted for Obama. Twice. Not that it makes a difference to these assholes. Really, dual loyalty charges? Really?

Screw you, Kerry. And screw you, Obama.

This canard is from the administration that encouraged American Jews and groups like AIPAC to lobby Congress to encourage it to support Obama’s proposed strikes on Syria after Assad’s forces used chemical weapons on civilians. Then, of course, the IWON turned around and let Russia and Syria bamboozle him into dropping the idea of using force to make Assad act even slightly civilized, leaving AIPAC and the others looking like chumps. If it looks like a chump and talks like a chump, it’s a chump.

Two years ago, Obama: ‘Israel Doesn’t Know What Its Best Interests Are’. So that’s Okay? And it’s wrong for Israel to retort, “We know what’s best for us?”

Of course the IWON knows better than the Israelis what is the proper policy they ought to follow in their own interests. He’s the smartest guy in the world. He’ll tell you so himself. So will his worshippers. That, no doubt, is why so many American Jews voted for him in both 2008 and 2012, not their knee-jerk habit of voting for anyone, no matter how inadequate, incompetent, or crooked who has a D after his name; or their idolatrous worship of State power that leads them to support gigantic and oppressive government. Oh wait…
