Meet Lily

Her name may change, but here’s the new girl in the house. She was feral, so it’s going to take a while to get her to warm up to me, and I need to introduce her to Tig even more slowly, but today, I picked up a kitten.

Lily

I look forward to posting many more pictures of Lily. Can’t wait until Tig sees his new baby sister.

Update: And we have a new name. It’s Meimei. I loved hearing it on Firefly. One of its meanings is “little sister”.

Oh my. Is she a Seal point Siamese or a Snowshoe?

  2. Laura SF says:

Oh my! If she’s a female Oriental breed (of any type), be warned – they are playful, smart, chatty, loyal & loving (in their own way), but they are also temperamental, NOT cuddly, and self-centered princesses. My little girl is a Tonkinese-Balinese mix, 11.5 years old, and a total brat. Good luck!

  3. I haven’t a clue what breed she is. She may be part Siamese. Chatty, playful, and smart would be wonderful. A princess? I can deal with that. Gracie was my Princess Gracie, after all.

  4. I have my big goofball for the cuddles, anyway. Tig gives kisses and hugs and wants to sit on my lap in the evenings. The new girl is going to be what she’s going to be, but I have a way with cats. She’s already starting to bond. I thought it would take a lot longer.

She looks adorable, hope her first meeting with Tig goes smoothly and they get along with each other! Looking forward to seeing future pictures of the two of them playing together.

Meimei is a great name! And I forgot you already have a cuddly boy-cat, so you’re all set. Best of luck, I’m sure they will be wonderful together!

  7. Turns out she’s a cuddlebug. She purrs very loudly, and yesterday, I got a couple of kisses. I think she’s going to be a great cat. Tigger hissed at her today. Sigh. Gonna take a while to get them together.
