The decision about the blog is made

I’ll be shuttering Yourish.com any day now and moving over to my new digs.

You may find that someone might be imitating my style over at Elder of Ziyon‘s blog. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Or something.

But I would recommend putting Elder in your daily feed. I’m pretty sure it will make up for what you used to have over here.

Meryl, good luck in this new phase of your career on the internet. It was yourish.com that opened the doors of the blogosphere to me ten years ago.

Sadly but perhaps appropriately, it was the beheading of Danny Pearl that drew me here. Even before his death, while his captors were playing the media, I was saying to myself “They’re gonna kill him because he’s Jewish.” And their stubborn refusal to acknowledge this stark fact afterward was a wake-up call to me that made me realize how far they had sunk and determined to find voices willing and able to tell the truth.

Indeed it is the truth that has kept me here for these ten years. You may be snarky at times with “juvenile scorn” but every single word you have ever written comes from the heart. Even though I don’t know you personally I know this is because it is simply impossible for you to do otherwise. This is a trait I have found in few if any other blogs (or people) and one that I greatly cherish.

I realize there may be an indefinite reference above – “their stubborn refusal” refers to the MSM.

Meryl, thank you for all of the hard work you have put into this blog!
I have read your blog on an almost daily basis and will miss your valuable insight into the hypocrisy of the media and its many left wing supporters whenever Israel is mentioned in the news. You are a warrior for the cause yielding a keyboard as a powerful weapon!
I wish you Good luck and success on all your future endeavors.
