Oops

This was supposed to go up on Friday.

I don’t know what to think about this: Obama is talking tough about Iran to Jeffrey Goldberg, saying he means what he says about Iran not getting nukes. I honestly don’t know what to make of it. I do know that I really, really, REALLY don’t want Israel to bomb Iran. I think that would be the worst possible scenario. So I think I’m going to hope that Obama–for once–actually means what he says–God help me.

Jaw-jaw, or war-war? Israel is testing the Arrow 3 missile interceptor system and letting everyone know it. The AP is showcasing Israeli bomb shelters. And India had to cancel a deal for Iranian oil because European insurers won’t go against the sanctions.

The Harvard stamp of approval: Harvard can distance itself as much as it wants and say that it’s just allowing the students to have a say, but holding a conference on the “one-state solution”–which is a conference on the end of the only Jewish state in the world–is not an expression of free speech. It is an expression of intent to kill. And it has the Harvard imprimatur, just as the modern version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the Walt-Mearsheimer Israel Lobby smear, had the Harvard seal of approval. Any Jew who donates a penny to Harvard is contributing to the university that sponsors the worst anti-Semitism in America since the 1930s. As for the media, well, here’s the lead in the Boston Globe:

An upcoming conference at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government on the “one-state solution’’ to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is drawing ire from organizations who believe it promotes the elimination of Israel.

That’s because it does promote the elimination of Israel. It posits a binational state with the admission of all Palestinian “refugees” as defined by UNRWA, which means millions of descendants of the 750,000 refugees of 1948 would be allowed to settle (presumably) in Israel. Nobody actually ever suggests who is going to pay for this influx of people, but then, that’s not the issue. The issue is the end of Israel. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

  1. Gary Rosen says:

“So I think I’m going to hope that Obama–for once–actually means what he says–God help me.”

He will mean it right up until the day he is re-elected.
