Friday morning exhausted briefs

Yeah, you try driving to NJ and back in one day and see if you don’t get home late and tired, particularly if you have to stop four times on the way for your elderly mother, and then wait for her to finish dinner and help her unpack and THEN take your brother to go get his car before heading home and see how YOU feel the next morning.

Boy, this is gonna piss off all the LA Times readers and then some: Three inconvenient truths about income disparity in the U.S., from a conservative point of view. Wait–what? No comments? Boy, someone in #occupy isn’t tweeting.

The most beautiful sound you’ll ever hear: Not “Maria”. The Syrian opposition telling the world that Iran can go pound sand once they take over and Assad’s people are gone. No more Syrian support for Hezbollah, either. Woo! This, of course, is why Hebollah and Iranians are in Syria right now, murdering Syrian civilians. Their precious “revolution” is on the line.

Burhan Ghalioun, the president of the Syrian National Council, said such moves would be part of a broader Syrian reorientation back into an alliance with the region’s major Arab powers.

Of course, their main target will still be Israel, but taking the Iran-Hezbollah-Syria axis offline would be a great benefit to Israel.

Speaking of Israel as Islamist target: Israel is strengthening other friendships as a result of the Arab spring. I think it’s wise, but I also think that the past history of Arab alliances will work in Israel’s favor. They do war on each other, after all. They’ll do it under Islamist governments, too.

Funny how that keeps happening: Those “spontaneous” protests against the U.K. embassy in Tehran? Not so much. Systematic destruction? Gee, color me shocked, shocked, to find out that there was a guiding hand behind the mob.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out: The U.K. expelled Iranian diplomats. Every nation that has any official Iranian presence should be on the lookout. They’re planning to attack U.S. Army bases in Germany if their nuclear plants are attacked.

  1. Cynic says:

This, of course, is why Hebollah and Iranians are in Syria right now, murdering Syrian civilians.
You should have completed it with
and that’s why Obama has been so tolerant with Assad.

Am I nuts if it appears to me that he is creating facts on the ground to help remove Israel from the map?
He has tolerated the Iranian’s work on nuclear devices and delivery systems, has become very pally with an increasingly Islamist Turkey and has got the brotherhood into power from Egypt to Tunisia.

  2. Yes, you are nuts. Obama is not actively seeking the end of Israel. Nor is he passively seeking it. Let’s not play that game here.
