Monday morning post-holiday briefs

So is the seventh, eighth, or ninth time? Another day, another explosion in the Egypt-Israel-Jordan gas line. Two, actually, both set off remotely. It bodes well for Israel-Egypt relations, regardless of what some op-ed writers think about Egypt not wanting to go to war with Israel. And yet, Egypt is raising its purchase of U.S. M1 tanks, for some reason. Who else would they get into a tank war with, we wonder? Hm. Let’s think. And yes, American dollars are paying Americans to make tanks for Egypt.

How stupid are the media regarding Islamists? This stupid. These are the “moderate” Islamists who will be running Morocco, a state that has been extremely tolerant of Jews for a long time:

The inhabitants of Arab Morocco do not think there is only a duty to identify with the Palestinians, but want to wage a jihad struggle alongside them.

Say goodbye to the last Jews of Morocco. I doubt they’ll be staying.

Addendum to the above: Elder found the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’s election platform in English. It’s exactly what you’d expect, and yet, the media will still call them “moderate”. They do this, even though the Brotherhood sponsored a rally where thousands of their supporters chanted they would “one day kill all Jews.” Not that the mainstream media noticed.
