However, they are in Gaza again making sure that they get every last bit of Israel-bashing out of their report, which accused Israel of war crimes. War crimes against the Kurds by Turkey? Not worth a second look.
Israel to the EU: Stick your declaration in your hindQuartet. Israel will not accept preconditions for talks with the Palestinians. Those would be the “framework” that Catherine Ashton (a.k.a. the “Israel sucks” minister for the EU) mentioned as causing Abbas to be really, really close to actually sitting down and talking with the Israelis. Of course he is. Those are preconditions. Watch for the media to spin this one as Israel refusing to talk with the Palestinians, even though, for the umpteenth time, Israel is ready to talk, but the Palestinians keep loading on condition after condition. Oh, and by the way: Hamas says no to direct talks, too. Quel surprise.
